Collective artworks that have a deeper meaning that communicate an idea or feeling that invokes the power of change for humanity.

If a camera, its lens and the settings are all that is required to creative compelling images, as a photographer all I am required to do is read the technical instruction manual for my camera, and the just turn up. But, all I will be doing is recording the world as I see it before my eyes. Over time, my New Zealand landscape photography has become a vision of my own creative ideas. My New Zealand landscape photography portfolio is a collective photographs that have a deeper meaning that communicate an idea or feeling that invokes the power of change for humanity.

Hiding in the Fog

We live in a world where sadness is often seen as a weakness. However, when small moments of sadness are shared with others, it brings; bravery, empathy, love and happiness, and collective power will grow. Hiding in the Fog aims to capture natural forms that evoke sad emotions on its viewers. It helps them to find the courage to be vulnerable with other people. All the photos are made in locations close to Hamilton using medium format B&W film, and the negatives are processed by me.

Volcanic Aotearoa

Volcanic activity is more known for its destructive effects on the landscape and people. However, Volcanic Aotearoa is a photography project that captures the beautiful colours and organic shapes of New Zealand’s volcanic landscape.

New Zealand's Deserts

The landscape of New Zealand’s far north is different to the rest. The coastline is difficult to access, and it is home to some of New Zealand’s giant dunes. Northland’s Dunes is a photography project that will increase the awareness of these dunes, their natural beauty and their organic sand sculptures.

The Wild West Coast

New Zealand’s west coast is wild, it has dangerous waves and strong winds, and its sand is black. West Coast Black Sand is a photography project that will photograph different west coast locations using long exposure techniques to create photographs that emphasise the beauty of the black sand.
