Medium format landscape photography is awesome

In todays video, I share with you my landscape photos from my second day on New Zealand's South Island. This is part of a series of videos that take me on a multi day journey with the Fujifilm GFX 50sII. The spirit of the journey is adventure and to experience new challenges. It follows the mountains in New Zealand South Island to photograph glaciers. Medium format landscape photography is awesome.

The photo above is my favourite from today. Over the years, I have learnt to appreciate how nature can provide eye pleasing compositions. I like the circle that is created by the cloud and its reflection. I think I am lucky to have taken this photo. The organic nature of the circle was a rare and unexpected experience.

Black and white photography is a powerful medium of photography because of how it simplifies the landscape. I appreciate how it removes colour and allows me to appreciate the landscape for its shapes and tones.

The above photos are from a salt and they were taken with my DJI Air 2s. I enjoyed taking these photos with my DJI Air 2s because it allowed me to view the salt lake from a new perspective. The salt lake has some nice man made features, and I used them to create different effects in my photos.
