Every print in my collection is a black and white fine art print made to order, produced to museum quality and archival standards, and built to last. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. When you order, your piece is produced specifically for you, then framed and shipped to your door ready to hang.
What Finishes Are Available?
My prints are offered in two distinct finishes, each suited to a different aesthetic and environment.
Under Acrylic Glass
The acrylic glass finish is face mounted behind high gloss acrylic. The result is extraordinary depth: deep, rich blacks and luminous, almost luminescent highlights that bring the black and white tones fully to life. The acrylic panel is rigid and lightweight, making it far more practical to hang than traditional glass, and it arrives ready to hang with no additional framing required. What Framing Options Are There?
Three framing options are available to suit different rooms and tastes:
- Basel in black or white, a clean, classic frame that suits most residential and commercial spaces.
- Basel in natural oak, a warm, pale timber that softens a contemporary room.
- Basel in walnut, a deeper brown that grounds the image against a pale wall.
All framing is included. Everything arrives ready to hang.
What Sizes Are Available?
Prints are made to order in a range of standard sizes, with custom sizing also available. Pieces can be produced up to approximately two metres on the long edge and beyond, making them genuinely suitable as large statement works for significant walls. If you have a specific dimension in mind, get in touch and I can work with you on it. You can explore the full range of large black and white wall art to see scale options.
Are These Open or Limited Edition Prints?
Both edition types are available in my collection, and each product page is clear about the status of the piece.
Open editions can be ordered at any time, in any size. They are not assigned a number and will remain available.
Limited editions are numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity. Once the edition is closed, that image will never be reprinted in that edition size. If you are interested in a piece as an investment or collectible, a limited edition is the appropriate choice.
Where Are Prints Delivered?
Prints are delivered worldwide. They arrive fully framed and ready to hang, carefully packaged for safe transit. Delivery timelines vary by location, and more detail is available at the time of order.
Who Is Behind the Work?
I am Stephen Milner, a New Zealand photographer working exclusively in black and white on medium format digital equipment. My work focuses on landscape and the natural world, and it has been recognised internationally. Every image in the collection was made personally by me. You can read more about how I work and how I approach making an image on The Process page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your fine art prints truly archival?
Yes. Every print is produced to museum quality and archival standards, and is made to last. I do not compromise on production quality because these are pieces people buy to live with for a very long time.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Standard sizes are listed on each product page, but custom sizing is available. Pieces can be produced up to approximately two metres on the long edge and beyond. Contact me directly to discuss your requirements before placing a custom order.
