A lone hunting hut stands in the high country of Central Otago, beneath the snow-capped Hawkdun Range. This is dry, tussocked back country in the heart of the South Island, where huts sit scattered far apart across the open ranges.
Stephen Milner photographed the hut in black and white from its veranda, two weathered armchairs looking out across the tussock to the snow on the range.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab, in two archival finishes:
-
Under Acrylic Glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish. Framed in a Basel or Slimline frame.
-
On Alu-Dibond. The print is bonded to a lightweight aluminium panel and sealed with a matte protective film for a clean, contemporary look. Framed in a Basel or ArtBox frame.
Available in three sizes from 107cm to 160cm on the long edge. Custom sizes on request.
Part of Stephen Milner's New Zealand fine art landscape collection.
