A small backcountry Cessna sits ready on a remote airstrip in Mount Aspiring National Park, the rugged alpine wilderness that straddles Otago and the West Coast of the South Island. Backcountry aircraft like this are how climbers and trampers reach the park's deep, road-less valleys.
Stephen Milner photographed the aircraft in black and white, the snow-capped peaks rising behind it, a moment poised on the edge of an adventure.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab and finished by hand:
-
Under acrylic glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass on a rigid backing and sealed for life, for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish.
-
In a Basel frame. A solid 15mm moulding with a shadow gap that sets the image just proud of the wall, in black matte, white, natural oak or walnut.
-
Or frameless. The same acrylic panel with no moulding, hung on aluminium rails fitted to the back, so the image runs clean to the edge.
Available in a full range of ultra wide panoramic sizes, from small pieces to oversized statement work. Custom sizes on request.
