Wharariki Beach lies at the remote north-western tip of the South Island, beyond Golden Bay near Cape Farewell. It is a wild, wind-sculpted shore of high dunes and the Archway Islands, great rock arches standing offshore in the Tasman surf.
Stephen Milner photographed the beach in black and white, light raking across the dunes and grasses with the Archway Islands standing beyond.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab and finished by hand:
-
Under acrylic glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass on a rigid backing and sealed for life, for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish.
-
In a Basel frame. A solid 15mm moulding with a shadow gap that sets the image just proud of the wall, in black matte, white, natural oak or walnut.
Available in three panoramic sizes from 107cm to 196cm wide. Custom sizes on request.
Part of Stephen Milner's New Zealand fine art landscape collection.
