Kuirau Park sits in the middle of Rotorua, in the Bay of Plenty, a free public park set on live geothermal ground, where steam drifts from boiling pools and mud. Bare branches stand among the rising vapour.
Stephen Milner photographed the scene in medium format in black and white, lifeless branches stark against the steam of a tranquil hot pool.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab and finished by hand:
-
Under acrylic glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass on a rigid backing and sealed for life, for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish.
-
In a Basel frame. A solid 15mm moulding with a shadow gap that sets the image just proud of the wall, in black matte, white, natural oak or walnut.
Available in three sizes from 80cm to 120cm square. Custom sizes on request.
Part of Stephen Milner's New Zealand fine art landscape collection.
