The Fox Glacier valley lies on the West Coast of the South Island, where the Southern Alps drop almost to the sea and rainforest meets farmland. Warm, wet air rolling off the Tasman regularly fills the valley with low cloud and mist.
Stephen Milner photographed a farmer's field and trees wrapped in mist in black and white during a West Coast cloud inversion, an everyday paddock turned strange and luminous.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab, in two archival finishes:
-
Under Acrylic Glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish. Framed in a Basel or Slimline frame.
-
On Alu-Dibond. The print is bonded to a lightweight aluminium panel and sealed with a matte protective film for a clean, contemporary look. Framed in a Basel or ArtBox frame.
Available in three panoramic sizes from 107cm to 196cm wide. Custom sizes on request.
Part of Stephen Milner's New Zealand fine art landscape collection.
