Hooker Lake lies at the foot of the Hooker Glacier in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, fed by ice melt beneath New Zealand's highest peak. On a calm day its grey glacial water mirrors the mountains of the Southern Alps.
Stephen Milner photographed the scene in black and white, the peak reflected in the still glacial lake in tranquil early light.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab, in two archival finishes:
-
Under Acrylic Glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish. Framed in a Basel or Slimline frame.
-
On Alu-Dibond. The print is bonded to a lightweight aluminium panel and sealed with a matte protective film for a clean, contemporary look. Framed in a Basel or ArtBox frame.
Available in three panoramic sizes from 107cm to 196cm wide. Custom sizes on request.
Part of Stephen Milner's New Zealand fine art landscape collection.
