From the Pouākai Tarns, high on the Pouākai Range, Mount Taranaki rises in its near-perfect volcanic cone on the west coast of the North Island. The small alpine pools mirror the snow-capped peak on a calm day.
Stephen Milner photographed the mountain in medium format in black and white, the symmetrical cone drawn to a fine point above the still tarn.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab and finished by hand:
-
Under acrylic glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass on a rigid backing and sealed for life, for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish.
-
In a Basel frame. A solid 15mm moulding with a shadow gap that sets the image just proud of the wall, in black, white, natural oak or walnut.
Available in three sizes from 80cm to 120cm square. Custom sizes on request.
