Rangitoto Island rises in a near-perfect volcanic cone in the Hauraki Gulf off Auckland — the youngest and largest of the city's volcanoes, formed in eruptions only about 600 years ago. This view looks out to it from the North Shore.
Stephen Milner photographed the island in medium format in black and white, the conical silhouette standing on the horizon across the open water.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab, in two archival finishes:
-
Under Acrylic Glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish. Framed in a Basel or Slimline frame.
-
On Alu-Dibond. The print is bonded to a lightweight aluminium panel and sealed with a matte protective film for a clean, contemporary look. Framed in a Basel or ArtBox frame.
Available in three sizes from 80cm to 120cm square. Custom sizes on request.
Part of Stephen Milner's New Zealand fine art landscape collection.
