Yosemite Valley falls still at first light, the Merced River smoothing into a mirror that gathers El Capitan, Cathedral Rocks and the granite walls of the valley into a single reflection. Stephen Milner photographed the scene from Valley View, the classic vantage at the western gates of the valley.
Rendered in black and white, the image trades colour for structure and tone: the weight of the granite, the soft mass of the pines and the quiet symmetry of stone meeting water. A study in stillness from one of the most revered landscapes in the American West.
Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab, in two archival finishes:
-
Under Acrylic Glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish. Framed in a Basel or Slimline frame.
-
On Alu-Dibond. The print is bonded to a lightweight aluminium panel and sealed with a matte protective film for a clean, contemporary look. Framed in a Basel or ArtBox frame.
Available in three panoramic sizes from 107cm to 196cm wide. Custom sizes on request.
